Morts Gothic doom metal! While there may not be any surprises contained in these slow grooves (the cover art pretty much let's you know what to expect), Saint Ivo do avoid the one trap that plagues many of their contemporaries by keeping the track times in the 3 to 5 minute range rather than indulging themselves in repetitive 15 minute drones. Fortunately this doesn't detract from the atmosphere or lessen the doominess, in fact I think it's a beneficial move! Favorite track: Welcome The Horned Lord Of Nazarene.
